White Horse Plastics has successfully recertified to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 — with an updated scope that now includes biopolymers
We’re really pleased to share that during 2025 we’ve completed our ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) recertification audits — and this time with an important update.
Our certified scope has now been expanded to include biopolymers, recognising the work we’re already doing in this space and our continued push toward more sustainable material choices.
This is a big step forward for us as we keep building new options for customers who want lower-impact, greener alternatives — without compromising performance or precision.
So now our certification scope officially covers:
The manufacture of thermoplastic & Biopolymers injection mouldings to customer specifications using technically based engineering materials. This includes assembly work and secondary operations.
This update better reflects the day-to-day effort our whole team puts in — improving processes, reducing waste, and making sure customers get the quality they expect alongside responsible manufacturing.
We’re proud of the achievement in recertification — and even more excited about how promoting our sustainability competencies will develop for more of our customers

Just one of our sustainably-focussed projects has been with Eleria, who recently launched their product to market. We spoke with the founders earlier in the year, who discussed their product, the process to developing and launching a sustainably-focussed product, and feedback on the support White Horse Plastics offered. Read more about this on our post – Eleria Launch. You can find out more about Eleria at their website – Eleria.com
